It's so hard...to say goodbye.

As I sit here writing this...the last of my posts in this time of my life, I'm saddened. See, tomorrow I'm turning a major corner in my life. That's right folks. I'm turning THIRTY!

I look back over what I've accomplished thus far in my life and it's all good. Afterall, it's gotten me where I am today. But still, the thought of being THIRTY, UGH! I can't believe that it's been 12 years since I graduated highschool. I'm old! I'm old enough technically to be a highschooler's mom! Not really, I wasn't that slutty but biologically it's possible.

Someone tonight at our preschool parent meeting commented on the fact that my checks have a very high number, 10020. And without even thinking I said "I've had the account since I was 16." Then it dawned on me, that's almost 1/2 my life! To have the same checking account! WOW!

So, here I sit with my wine in hand...I know right, I drink wine! In highschool, wine was what old people drank. Well, now that's me...the old person. I'm enjoying my wine, celebrating the last of my 20's, and quietly welcoming my 30's.

It won't be so bad. DH is still older than me. HAHA!
